About the Lycee Trading Card Game

The Lycee Card Game (pronounced ‚肹, or lee-say) is a collectible game by Silver Blitz. Build a team of characters, events, items, and areas from your favourite visual novels and battle it out!

The characters come from various other game companies that produce visual novels. Famous companies involved in this game include Key/Visual Arts, Leaf/AQUAPLUS, Type-Moon, and Navel.

The cards are released in sets. Each set showcases several games from one particular game company. Each game company may have several sets. For example, Alice Soft has three sets so far: AL 1.0, AL 2.0, and AL 3.0.

The cards are fairly interchangeable when building decks. Generally, functional decks stick to cards from one or two elements and use a fair amount of characters. Otherwise, you can mix and match cards from different games or different sets. It's possible to build a good deck where arch rivals cooperate, or for characters from entirely different stories to meet together and achieve victory!

The name Lycee is actually a term for secondary education in France, for children between 15-18 years old. Also, many of the characters featured in this trading card game are highschoolers. The implication is that Lycee involves a variety of highschool girls in their journeys as they become of age. Of course, it's not entirely true, since there are aliens, time travellers, and espers thrown into the mix as well.
