Deck:
You play Lycee with a deck of exactly 60 cards.

You can't have more than 4 cards with the same name in that deck, even if they have different art or different abilities.

That's all there is to it!

There are, of course, good decks that fit those rules and bad decks that fit those rules. Tweaking a deck from mediocre to awesome is half the fun of deck building!

For quick guidelines, easy-to-play decks draw their cards from one or two elements at most, and are made of mostly character cards. At least half the cards have 2 EX, and card costs average around 2 or 3. Pre-made decks are great examples!


Opponent:
Lycee is a 2 player game. You'll need an opponent with their own 60 card deck to play! Splitting a deck into two 30-card halves is a good way to learn to play the game, though.
