The objective in Lycee is to reduce your opponent's deck to zero cards before your own deck runs out. Usually, this is done through battling. If one of your characters attack and isn't blocked, it'll deal damage to your opponent's deck; deck damage is represented by discarding cards from it. Lycee is a delecate dance of setting your characters in play, supporting them in their battles, trying to get your attacks through, and minimizing damage from your opponent's attacks.
