Resources: Info:

During your Main Phase, you can choose one of your characters to attack your opponent. There are 4 steps to the battle process; Declaring an Attacker, Declaring a Defender, Declaring Support, and Battle Outcome.

Declare an Attacker

Choose an untapped Character in your AF row. Tap it to declare the battle.

You can't choose a Character that came into play this turn.

The Character becomes the Attacking Character for this battle.

Declare a Defender

Your opponent may choose a Character to defend against the attack. Tap it to declare defense.

The only Character allowed to defend against the attack is one in the DF, in the same column as the AF of the Attacking Character.

That Character becomes the Defending Character for this battle.

If there is no character in the proper DF, the battle continues without a Defending Character. If so, skip to Battle Outcome.

When attacked, you can choose not to defend, even if there's a valid Character that can block.

Declare Supporters

Both players can choose to support their Characters in the battle. Tap a Character to declare support.

Only untapped characters adjacent to the battle Characters can support.

A Supporting Character boosts their friend by the amount of their SP.

Supporting Characters boost an Attacking Character's AP, or a Defending Character's DP.

Players can also use Events and Special Abilities during this step.

This step ends when neither player wants to add support, Events, or Special Abilities.

All stat changes from Support last until the end of this battle.

Battle Outcome

The outcome depends on if the Attacking Character was blocked.
  • If there is no Defending Character:
The defending player's deck takes damage.
Discard cards from the top of the defending player's deck, equal to the printed AP of the Attacking Character.

  • If ther is a Defending Character:
If the Attacker's AP is higher than the Defender's DP, the Defender is knocked down.
If the Defender's AP is higher than the Attacker's DP, the Attacker is knocked down.
This comparison includes the stat boosts from the Declare Support step.
Either character could be knocked down, or both, or neither.
The defending player's deck takes no damage.
